Its the Mossberg® 930™ SPX™ from the Mossberg Tactical Shotgun series that has been selected by NRA/Shooting Illustrated as the "2009 Shotgun of the year". Here are more specs on the new Mossberg that will explain how this design has won the award amidst some tough competition:

Specs: Mossberg 930 SPX Tactical 12 Gauge Shotgun With 18.5" Barrel. Stock # 85360. Features of this model include  M16 Style Front Sights, a removable Ghost Ring rear sight, and a 7 + 1 capacity tube.

This semi-automatic shotgun will cycle all 2 3/4" & 3" shotshells and comes with a receiver mounted Picatinny rail system.
